Previous Page Next PageTraitors fans have been left terrified by one of the ‘scariest challenges ever’ in the show’s history.
From blood running down the walls to hands sticking out of graves, you can be forgiven for thinking that tonight’s episode was a Halloween special.
But no, thanks to the BBC murder mystery game, millions of viewers across the UK were left petrified by some pretty spectacularly horrifying special effects.
Sat in a dingy cabin, the contestants had to decipher the names of deceased people to earn money.
With £10,000 up for grabs, the players then received bags of cash from a hand in a grave if they were correct.
Taking to social media, @danidelle23 said: ‘I didn’t expect to be lowkey terrified watching tonight #TheTraitors.’

@kirv96 joked that this episode has reminded them of a ‘three-part BBC horror-drama’ instead of a murder-mystery game.
@AllThatJazz_i also added: ‘The production in this dingy cabin is brilliant as it’s actually very scary #TheTraitors’
Meanwhile, @LadyJacs said they were left ‘jumping out of my skin’ by the scares.
Many viewers also adored the moment that Stephen, who seemed to petrified, asked if the people in the graves were ‘okay’.

The barrister turned crime thriller writer explained how she felt ‘awful’ watching herself shout at her fellow Faithful at the breakfast table as she launched an attack against Traitor Rachel.
Speaking to Metro, she said: ‘Unfortunately, and I’m not proud of it at all, I did lose my temper and I really wish I hadn’t. I wish that it had gone a different way.’
Asked whether she has spoken to Roxy since, the 53-year-old added: ‘We’ve met up, we’ve spoken to each other. I messaged her again watching it last night saying, “God, this is awful. I’m so sorry… that I shouted. I really wish that I hadn’t”. I was so deep in the game though.
